By further tracing, the Lucas Vetter this study starts with (b. 11/23/1696 - d. bef. 1753), is the 8th in line from that original Lucas Vetter who died in 1483. History on the interim Lucas Vetters is indistinct; the tracing from 1st to 8th was done through inspecting Catholic and later Lutheran church records.
